Aaron Jeffery

Logie Award-winning actor from New Zealand and Australia, Aaron C. Jeffery. His characters include Terry Watson in Water Rats and Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He also played the role of Matt "Fletch” Fletcher in Wentworth. Born in Howick, Auckland, Jeffery was able to move to Australia at the age of 17 to study acting at NIDA. He graduated with his NIDA degree in 1993. Following that, he launched his TV career with the children's series Ship to Shore. Jeffery is famous for his role as Alex Ryan in the drama McLeod's Daughters, which was cancelled in 2008. He was also part of the third season of the New Zealand drama Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery played Frank in Underbelly: Badness. He finished filming on 22 June. Three days later Jeffery was officially announced as Bradley Fox's replacement on Neighbours for a period of two weeks. It was announced that Jeffery had been given the role of an officer of corrections at Wentworth on October. He also appeared in the Bevan Lee series Between Two Worlds for the Seven Network. In April 2021 , it was revealed that Jeffery will appear in Pieces of Her, a Netflix thriller series that was adapted from the Karin Slaughter book. Jeffery's performance on McLeod's Daughters was rewarded with the Silver Logie in 2007 and 2004.
