Rosario Isabel Dawson was born on May 9th 1979. [3] She is an American actress, producer and director. Her first feature film appearance was in the 1995 independent drama Kids. The roles she played in subsequent films include He Got Game (1998), Josie and the Pussycats (2001), Men in Black II (2002), Rent (2005), Sin City (2005), Clerks II (2006), Death Proof (2007), Seven Pounds (2008), Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), Unstoppable (2010), Zookeeper (2011), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014) and Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). Dawson also voice-overs for Warner Bros./DC Comics as well as ViacomCBS Nickelodeon's Nickelodeon unit. As part of her character in Rent, Dawson was awarded the Satellite Award in Best Supporting Actress Motion Picture. And for Top Five, Dawson was nominated for the Critics Choice Movie Award in the category of Best actress in Comedy. Dawson was born on the 9th of May, 1979 in New York City. Isabel Celeste, her mother is Afro-Cuban. Rosario was 16 years old at Rosario's birth. Isabel never married Patrick C. Harris who was her father in law. Rosario's mother, Greg Dawson, was working as a construction worker when she was only one year old. Dawson is four years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson’s half-brother. Dawson is also famous for her various roles in comic book adaptations. She portrayed Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian's second season in 2020 , and will also be appearing in the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She also has a recurring part in the Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy series Young Rock in 2021.
